In 1944, Harbin is a city of hidden currents under puppet Manchurian rule. Communist agent Song Zhuowen assumes his twin brother's identity and infiltrates the Special Services Division to earn its trust. Amid a perilous situation, he pits his wits against forces from every side, gathers intelligence, defuses crises, and stands firm in his beliefs alongside his comrades, clearing obstacles on the road to victory in the War of Resistance.
