Monks do not cultivate aura, soul, or immortality. They take "cutting off all obsessions, emotions, causes and effects, and talents" as their path. The cleaner they cut, the higher their cultivation level. In the end, they cut themselves off and turn them into the rules of heaven and earth. They will never be reincarnated, have no soul, and cannot even "die".
