She Says We Don't Know Each Other

The day Lu Chen's first love returned to the country, I quietly signed the divorce papers.

In three years of marriage, he never learned what food I liked, that I was afraid of the dark, or even that I was allergic to cat hair.

Later, he cornered me in a hospital corridor, eyes bloodshot. "I heard you've lost your memory? Do you still remember..."

I walked around him and said to the man beside me, "Honey, this guy's in the way."

Lu Chen went completely mad. "What did you just say?!"

The man who had once made him so jealous he nearly lost his mind put an arm around my waist and smiled gently. "Wife, we're strangers."
