Chronicles of the Star-Town Through the Long Night

To save his mother, Lin Shu ventures alone into Cangwu Plain, a forbidden zone of life, only to fall by chance into the Netherworld Calamity Ruins, sealed for a thousand years. There, he inherits the Star Lord’s legacy and uses fragments of the Heavenly Mechanism Casket to remake his right arm, setting out on a path to defy his fate.

Yet the Huan Dynasty covets the power of the Emperor Star, Yinghai lusts after the secrets of calamity energy, and the traitor of old still manipulates the world’s game from the shadows. At his side are a red-clad girl struck by a deadly poison, a princess of the fallen dynasty burdened with the hatred of a ruined kingdom, and an old battlefield veteran who has spent fifty years searching for his elder brother. Each is but a drifting leaf in a turbulent age, yet together, through him, they become a spreading blaze of starlight.

The Scarlet Comet is about to descend once more. This time, he will turn the course of fate, end calamity energy forever, and ensure that every person he holds dear lives to see the dawn.
