On the Day My Engagement Was Canceled, I Turned Around and Married the Regent

A modern office worker opens her eyes to find herself the legitimate daughter of a military family, humiliated after being jilted. When her fiancé and half-sister mock her, she slaps the marriage contract down in front of the powerful, suspicious regent. "Marry me. Do you dare?" The regent smiles and agrees. Only when the wretched couple kneel and beg forgiveness does she realize that the regent has been secretly gathering evidence of their treason all along, just waiting to close the net and send them to prison.
