Seer: The One They Scorned Became Their Faith

[For all audiences + genderless protagonist (referred to as “he”) + a touch of harem appeal + coming of age + transmigration + lots of original worldbuilding + no romance]

“Phew, the college entrance exams are finally over!” After the exams, Liu Zhirou returned to the cheap rented room and flopped onto the narrow bed. He picked up his phone and looked at the childhood animated series he had treasured for years, Seer.

“I used to watch the neighbor’s kid get so excited over this show all the time,” Liu Zhirou murmured. He thought about how, once he finished his shift tonight, he’d be able to relax at home and catch up on the whole story. A little thrill rippled through him.

“Now that everything’s settled, I finally have time to get some proper rest.” With that, Liu Zhirou changed into his work uniform, clutched his phone tightly, and took one last look at the striking title on the screen. He couldn’t help smiling.

But as the boy stepped onto the crosswalk, a heavily loaded truck sped toward him and cruelly snatched away his fragile life.

When he opened his eyes again, Liu Zhirou saw only unfamiliar greens and blues blurring around him. Before he could come to his senses, a wail like a baby’s burst from his throat.

“Where is this place?!”

The early part of this story follows the protagonist’s personal journey. The main plot comes later.

The author hasn’t watched Seer in over ten years, so they’re catching up as they write.
