After creating two gods, the Heavenly Dao fell back into slumber, leaving the two gods to depend on each other. They lived among mortals under human identities and opened the Tingyun Inn. By day, they welcomed guests; at night, they made a business of granting people's wishes.
Yan Lingyi writes in her journal every day. A god's life is long, and there are too many precious memories to bear forgetting.
The first page of the journal is in her own hand, but the final page is written by Yan Huiyi.
Yan Huiyi was born without one of her souls, and so was born without emotion. In her world, her older sister was her only family: the one who trusted her unconditionally and stood up for her. Yet in the end, her sister died in her place.
"Don't cry. Even when I'm gone, you must take good care of yourself. If you miss me, look through the journal."
Yan Huiyi read that journal. It was her sister's, yet most of its contents were about her. There was still one blank page left.
She picked up her brush and filled the empty page.
"My sister likes to act tough. She has a kind heart and is a little silly, too. But she will always be my sister, and I will always love her."
It feels a bit similar to the setting of Fuyu, but since it is written by the same author, I will give it a five-star review and save it on my bookshelf until it is finished. I will leave a paw to support the author 😳
