Growing up, I endured too much bullying and too many cold stares, but I never once bent my back. I studied by kerosene lamp, recited my lessons on the field paths, and swallowed my grievances just to prove myself. As an adult, I never learned how to flatter the people in charge, so I was often treated coldly. Through my writing, I light a lamp for those who are struggling. In this life, I have become my own light. I share my stories of hardship and what I have gained with my readers.
