Journey to the West: the Poor Monk Doesn't Learn the Scriptures

History Xuanzang passed away. From this day on, the script of Journey to the West was torn apart. To accept Sun Wukong, there is no need to tighten the spell, just ask: "Five hundred years, what have you been thinking about?" The White Bone Essence will not fight or kill, but only says: "I hate you enough, it's time to leave." After passing through the Kingdom of Lions and Camels and preaching on the Sea of Blood on the Corpse Mountain for three years, the first grass grew in the ruins. When he arrived at Lingshan, Tathagata asked him what he had got. He said: "The tears of the people in Chang'an, the loneliness under the Five Elements Mountain, the confusion of the king of the daughter country - these are not in the scriptures." The Tathagata stepped down from the lotus platform and put his hands together: "I have been taught." Someone asked: Do you want to learn from it? Xuanzang looked at the way he came and said: "The sutra is not in the Western Heaven, but on the road. The Buddha is not in the spiritual mountain, but in the heart."
