Apocalypse: I Made Up Superpowers to Pass the Civil Service Exam

[One-Sentence Premise]

After dying suddenly, she transmigrates into the apocalypse. While everyone else stockpiles supplies, she takes a civil service exam. Her golden finger lets her “rewrite the code” behind supernatural powers. The state provides her with a husband, and she helps the nation conquer the world.

[Story Synopsis]

Overworked office drone Su Ci drops dead from working overtime. When she opens her eyes, the apocalypse has arrived.

While others awaken powers like fireballs and healing, she gains a pair of “code eyes” that let her see the underlying parameters of every ability and change them at will!

Fireballs too weak? She upgrades them to homing blasts that explode repeatedly. A healer can only heal one person at a time? She turns the skill into a group damage-reflection aura.

While other survivors fight to the death over a packet of instant noodles, Su Ci marches straight to the military district and knocks on the gate:

“Commander, I can double your soldiers' combat power. Do meals, lodging, and an assigned partner come with the job?”

And so

While everyone else scrapes by in the apocalypse, she gets a government job, full social insurance and housing fund benefits, and an S-rank war god as her personal bodyguard.

When an extraterrestrial civilization declares Earth has failed its trial and is about to be reformatted, Su Ci looks at the screen full of code and smiles:

“Funny you should say that. I'm a product manager, and cleaning up garbage programs like yours is my specialty.”
