Fu Qingfang, 28 years old, is a well-known starry sky photographer in China. After receiving a commission from China National Geographic for a special feature on the desert starry sky, she went deep into the Badain Jaran Desert alone, where she unexpectedly met Gu Huai, her first high school love who was forced to drop out of school and broke up with her due to family changes ten years ago. Today, Gu Huai quit his job in the financial circle and became a freelance landscape photographer. He said that he chased the starry sky she photographed for six years. The night in the desert was long and quiet, and the two were forced to live together between the sea of sand and the river of stars. The farewell ten years ago without saying goodbye, their respective struggles over the years, and the fire in their hearts that has never been truly extinguished are all revealed one by one under the wind, sand and starlight. This is not a simple reunion, but two adults who, after seeing the whole truth of life, still choose to move towards each other.
