A Modern Underworld Employee: A Soul Guide Who Flatters for Extra Life

[1v1 sweet romance | Supernatural beings × workplace comedy × cyber underworld]

Su Xiaoli is a good-for-nothing in the mystic arts, with perfect theoretical scores and zero practical skill. Her family forces her into the underworld, where she lands a coveted temporary position as an unofficial staffer.

Every day, KPIs drive her crazy, her family looks down on her, and she's so miserable she wants to vanish on the spot.

One day, while slacking off at work, she falls at first sight for Shen Qingyan, a handsome CEO in the human world who's almost unfairly good-looking.

She instantly turns into an underworld stalker, secretly sticking close to him, and successfully becomes the CEO's invisible personal guardian spirit.

She thinks she's sneaking around unseen, but she doesn't know that the CEO was born with yin-yang eyes and can see every single one of her stalker antics!

He looks cold and expressionless on the outside, but on the inside, his jealousy has already boiled over all the way down to the eighteenth level of the underworld.

And it gets even more ridiculous: the underworld is now more cutthroat than the human world.

The dead are hooked on short videos, with piles of paper cell phones everywhere;

Programmers who died from overwork become ghosts and keep working around the clock, fixing bugs;

Ghost influencers livestream their antics, while earthbound spirits surf the internet.

Su Xiaoli's everyday ghost-catching duties turn into a hilarious free-for-all with internet-addicted ghosts, overworked ghosts, and troublemaking ghosts.

When her secret identity is accidentally exposed, the jealous CEO corners her against the wall.

“You've been watching me for so long. Now it's time to make it official and become my girlfriend.”

The two of them team up to start a mystic-tech company. From then on, their absurdly delightful life begins: ghosts want to watch short videos, reapers have to write weekly reports, and ghost hunters have to guard against clients changing the requirements!
