Call of Cthulhu

"The Call of Cthulhu" is a short story written by the American novelist Lovecraft. It tells the story of a young scholar who accidentally discovered a dusty investigative file while sorting through the belongings of his late great-uncle. My great-uncle was a linguist. During his lifetime, he used a strange relief, a mysterious statue and a page of confessions from a crazy cultist to trace a secret organization that spread all over the world. As the investigation deepened, scholars were horrified to realize that these seemingly independent case fragments actually pointed to an ancient existence sleeping in the deep sea.
