A bizarre archaeological accident hurls Chen Xu, a young archaeologist, into the age of Yao and Shun, four thousand years in the past. Floods rage, the earth shakes, and monsters multiply; the legendary ancient apocalypse seems to be unfolding. Chen Xu soon discovers that this era is far more complicated than the “golden age of abdication” described in the history books.
