Three thousand minor worlds came under attack from an outside force. The male leads of these worlds were supposed to be Heaven’s darlings, able to do anything with ease.
But the outside force intervened and absorbed the power of Heaven’s laws, causing the male leads in every world to turn evil for all sorts of reasons.
(Some were abandoned by their families, betrayed by their lovers, or stabbed in the back by their friends.)
With the last of its power, Heaven found Yaoyao, a peach blossom spirit, and asked her to bring the male leads back to the right path.
She would earn a measure of merit for every world she completed.
That merit could help her ascend to immortality.
Yaoyao readily agreed, but Heaven never told her she’d have to give herself up to them, too.
“Yaoyao, you’re my medicine. If you leave, I’ll die.”
“Miss, I’ll be good.”
Oh, well. Since she was already seeing them through, she might as well stay with them for the rest of their lives in each little world.
