Zhang Fanggu was a laborer’s boy from a mining village. He was supposed to spend his whole life digging stone in a lightless spirit mine, working like an ox for the cultivators.
After a mining accident, he was tossed into an abandoned shaft as a “burial offering.” But at the brink of death, he found a cracked “Meridian-Suppressing Stone Heart.”
The stone heart had no cultivation techniques or spells. It only quietly mended his broken body and meager spiritual roots whenever he came close to death.
Without the backing of a powerful sect or a halo of peerless talent, he was sold by the mine supervisor to a small, failing sect, where he became a lowly servant disciple.
Through sect rivalries, the downfall of his sect, and bloody massacres in hidden realms, he weathered wave after wave, carefully guarding the small measure of cultivation he had struggled to gain and scraping by like a rat in the cracks between the powerful.
Yet time is never partial to anyone
As peerless prodigies fell in their endless struggles for the Dao, and immortal masters he had once looked up to were buried in the earth, the forgotten name of Zhang Fanggu quietly rose to a height where all beings would look back in awe.
Even an ordinary body can have an edge; tempered a thousand times, it can become an immortal. That year, the boy dusted with mine grit looked down upon the heavens and murmured calmly:
I was born with an ordinary body. Step by step, I leave a trail of blood. The path I walk is my road to immortality.
Good, good, good, good, good, good
Well written, vivid and vivid. Like it very much 👍
