Core premise: The three kingdoms of Dayan, Beili, and Xiyuan have been locked in a century of grudges. On the surface, they wage endless wars over territory, but in the shadows, a mysterious organization called the Nine Hells has been lurking for a hundred years, stirring the kingdoms into slaughter and devouring the fortune of the Nine Provinces. As the three kingdoms’ most elite intelligence agencies, Dayan’s Shadow Bureau, Beili’s Black Ice Terrace, and Xiyuan’s Listening Oriole Tower, gradually uncover the truth amid fierce fighting on the border, a deadly contest begins: one that takes them from slaughtering one another to joining forces against their will.
