Genshin Impact: Reviving the Departed, Starting with Venti

Lin Yue transmigrates into Genshin Impact and gets bound to a Wish-Fulfillment System.

Other Systems make their Hosts fight and kill. His System makes its Host do one thing: rescue people.

Venti’s friend from his youth? Rescue him!

Zhongli’s Guizhong? Rescue her!

Ei’s elder sister Makoto? Rescue her!

Nahida’s Greater Lord Rukkhadevata? Rescue her!

It doesn’t matter how many years ago they died, or whether they were gods, adepti, yaksha, or elves. As long as their regrets remain unresolved, he’ll pull them out of the river of time and bring them back to life for good.

And so...

A boy who plays the lyre is back at Venti’s side.

Someone is there to complain with Zhongli over tea.

Ei’s Plane of Euthymia is no longer a place where she’s all alone.

Nahida says “Mama” for the first time.

Readers: “Wait, you brought everyone back to life. What are you going to write about now?”

Lin Yue: “Their stories after they come back to life, of course.”

Venti and the boy go fish-blasting.

Guizhong teaches Zhongli how to haggle.

Makoto takes Ei clothes shopping.

Greater Lord Rukkhadevata combs Nahida’s hair.

“This is what a truly happy ending looks like.”
