Journey to the West: I Ate My Way to Spirit Mountain and Became Invincible!

[Journey to the West] [No Female Lead] [Tang Sanzang] [Eating Demons]

Tang Xuan opened his eyes to find himself bound. A few demons were chewing on his attendants' remains and discussing how to roast him.

As cold sweat ran down his back, a prompt rang out in his mind: "The Gourmet Saint System has bound itself to you. Cooking spiritual ingredients can increase your cultivation."

His eyes lit up. He used his own hand as an ingredient, received a reward, broke through immediately, and raised his hand to slaughter the demons.

From then on, a "holy monk" with a blade at his side joined the journey west.

At Black Wind Mountain, he cut off the Black Bear Spirit's right paw. "Bear paw stewed in honey is the only way to go."

At Golden-Horn Cave, he sliced off the Green Ox Spirit's hind leg. "Braising it in sauce will let the flavor soak right in."

The Carp Spirit became sashimi, the Azure Lion became lion's head meatballs, and the White Elephant Spirit's trunk was braised into a drinking snack.

Even the Buddha's uncle, the Golden-Winged Great Peng, was roasted with Samadhi True Fire and devoured down to the last bite with garlic paste.

To increase his power as quickly as possible, Tang Sanzang eventually turned his demon blade on the gods and immortals of the Three Realms.

After eating his way all the way to Spirit Mountain, Tang Xuan stood outside Thunderclap Monastery and burped.

The Primordial Source-Devouring Art circulated within him, and the Three Thousand Great Daos flowed through his meridians. A mere lift of his hand released boundless Buddha-light, so dazzling that even the Buddhas dared not look directly at him.

Only then did he belatedly realize that after eating his way across the land, he had become the most invincible being in the Three Realms.
