Selling Miracle Medicine on Livestream, the Tycoon Begs Me for a Hug

Unemployed Lin Xiaoling binds herself to a “force-selling System.”

The System's products are wild: shampoo that grows hair, milk tea that makes you fairer, and even koi charms that can change your luck.

Its rules are even wilder: each person can buy only one of each product per day, using a single ID.

On her first day streaming, Lin Xiaoling has just one viewer. “Buy it if you want, don't if you don't. If you buy more than one, get lost.”

The whole internet mocks her for trying to use “scarcity marketing” until she starves herself out of business.

A month later, the trending lists explode: #TheBaldOnlyHeirToTheRichestFamilyHasRegrownHisHair# #TheActressUsedLinXiaoling'sFoundationAndActuallyTurnedInvisible#

The whole internet is frantic. “Please, Sister Lin! I have money! I really do! Let me place one more order, just one!”

The stone-faced tycoon Lu Chenjing waits in line outside Lin Xiaoling's apartment for three days, just to get a packet of “appetite-boosting jelly” for his grandmother.

Lin Xiaoling looks at the tall, handsome man at her door and blushes. “Handsome, I can't let you buy more than one. But if you come be my livestream assistant, I might save you a spot for a private purchase.”
