Guarding the Gods of All Heavens: Starting with a Single Sword Strike That Kills the Ancestor

The Eternal Night swarmed forth, its dark fog blotting out the sun as it sought to bury the mortal world. Wielding a blunt wooden sword, Shen Yanzhi drew strength from the hopes of countless people and drove back the enemy with a single strike. To prevent future calamities, he ventured alone into the abyss of the Eternal Night, turned the people's unyielding will into a sword, and destroyed the source of darkness, ending an age-old catastrophe.

Afterward, peace returned to the human world. He retired to Anxin Ridge, guarding a single lamp of hope and passing on the righteous way: When the heart is at peace, darkness cannot prevail; the lamp of hope will never go out.
