The Little Liar You've Been Waiting For Has Arrived

She had a crush on him for six years and got close to him under the guise of an online friend.

She lied about being his online friend. He lied about having a girlfriend.

Two liars, and neither of them won.

The day they were supposed to meet in person, he said, “I have a girlfriend. Don’t come looking for me.”

A year later, she got a phone call: he had killed himself. He ended his life somewhere she would never know about.

In his apartment, she found a photograph. On the back, it said:

“Lin Zhiyao, it’s okay that you can’t use Photoshop. I can.

P.S. I love you.”

He had recognized her long ago.

His claim that he had a girlfriend was a lie.

He loved her even more than she had imagined.

She ate the seafood rice that had been tampered with for him, curled up on the floor, and said, “It hurts so much.”

At midnight, she lit the candles. “My Zhou Yi, happy sixteenth birthday.

“Zhou Yi, I need you right now.”

She rode up on her little electric scooter to pick him up. “Hey, handsome, want me to take you for a ride?”
