I Guard the Gate of an Old Mansion, and My Employees Aren’t Human

Jobless, rejected 53 times, and hounded by my father for money the moment I got home.

I thought my life couldn't get any worse. Then, one late night at the old family home, I stumbled upon a secret the family had kept hidden for seventy years.

The shadows move in the lamplight. There's another world behind the door. The shadow isn't mine.

Grandma isn't Grandma. She's the guide to the boundary, trapped behind the door for seventy years.

From then on, I became the gatekeeper of the old house.

Taking jobs, resolving lingering obsessions, keeping the books, and building a business.

My employees:

They love short dramas, and demand Wi-Fi, tablets, and mobile data.
