In the symbiote civilization of the living planet Gaia, gravity is tied to confidence and class is determined by the height of suspension. The last poet, Ryan, was exiled to the surface for his pursuit of free will to break the laws of physics. When he attempts to challenge the rules with poetry, he triggers the planet's immune response - a sentient silent storm known as "Aleph" begins to hunt him across the globe.
