RimWorld: Awakening in an Ancient Cryopod

[Farming novel] [RimWorld] [Rimworld]

When Lin Mo wakes from the bone-chilling cold, he thinks he's still dreaming. But the cold touch of the metal pod walls and the burning pain in his lungs tell him the truth: this isn't a VR game. This is the real RimWorld.

This dangerous planet is home to countless strange humanoid species.

There are the Qiluo, the Mengyuan, the ratkin... and even angels.

There's no beginner's tutorial, and no saving and starting over. Hunger, disease, extreme weather, and deadly raiders could take his life at any moment. Worse still, the events that were only data in the game, the Anomaly, psychic whispers, mechanoid clusters, ancient dangers, are all lethal realities here.

RimWorld is widely considered a lawless frontier. With no unified planetary government, all kinds of people show up on the rimworlds.

Anyone might stumble across incredibly advanced technology in ancient ruins, abandoned spaceships, or even a trader's cargo: learning machines that impart decades of experience in seconds, liquid medicine that cures incurable diseases, fabrics tougher than the highest-grade industrial alloys. None of these things can be produced on the rimworlds, and all of them are worth an incredible amount.

To survive, Lin Mo must learn what it truly takes to stay alive: finding food, making weapons, building a simple shelter, and treating infected wounds. He must also establish his first colony.
