This is the first time I have seen such a simple way of writing to portray a Raven Guard. Here he is not a high-ranking angel seeking death, he is not an arrogant imperial demigod, he is not a fanatical believer who only shouts about the God Emperor and the Golden Throne, he is an unknown guard who protects the survival rights of civilians and is willing to lurk alone in the ruins for more than 20 hours after all his colleagues in the team are evacuated, just to make sure that the mortals he saves will continue to live.
Just like the Gene Father did thousands of years ago, he is the liberator of the people and the guardian of the shadows. He is a low-key and great Raven Guard sniper. He is Korvas.
First comment, this book is very interesting, the plot length is moderate, and it is not like other Warhammer novels that add too much water to the plot in order to make more bad money. Moreover, the plot itself is also very interesting, there is nothing obtrusive, and the protagonist is good.
