On their way home from a family outing, the four members of the Yun family from a modern city are caught in an accident. Their car plunges into a vibrant, primeval forest. Faced with the unknown, Dad Yun Mo and Mom Su Shu lead their two daughters from their initial panic to making use of their modern knowledge and unyielding determination. They choose a spot by a stream to build a home, clear land for farming, and hunt and forage. In the end, they create a warm, prosperous haven and settle into a life of harvesting in autumn and storing food for winter in this strange forest. With no workplace stress, no struggles at school, and certainly no chaotic homework sessions, will they finally enjoy a peaceful family life filled with maternal love and filial devotion...?
