A strange young man named Zhou Xingxing arrives in Renjia Town.
While everyone else is learning martial arts, he spends his days figuring out how to “chop down trees.”
Uncle Jiu takes him on as a disciple, intending to pass down his teachings, only to discover that the boy’s cultivation is a little... unusual.
“Master, lend me your inked string. I want to see if I can use it to reel something in.”
“Master, if a zombie becomes a spirit, would that make it a spirit beast?”
“Master, don’t worry about how I cultivate. I haven’t gone mad from cultivation... probably.”
Then one day, a bolt of heavenly lightning unlike anything in this world descends over Renjia Town.
Uncle Jiu looks up at the sky, nearly dropping the peachwood sword in his hand.
His most unreliable disciple stands in the lightning, waves at him, and says:
“Master, I’m heading up first to chop down a tree. I’ll bring you back some local specialties.”
A story about secretly cultivating immortality while hunting zombies in the world of Uncle Jiu’s movies.
The protagonist has a System, but there’s no grinding or spending money. It all comes down to... chopping trees.
A mess. . . . . .
