The decadent Dayin Dynasty was deeply involved in land annexation, refugees and court factions. Mysterious "future dream" fragments arrive, bringing omens and risks. The story begins in a humble "broken house" on the edge of the empire. An inconspicuous little man carries a fragmented prophecy. Starting from the cruel survival game at the bottom, he travels through the sounds of abacus beads, imperial edicts and silks and the torrent of the times, and finally embarks on a long journey to the "nine-layered palace" at the core of power. He tries to mend the cracks in the sky and reshape the rules amidst the collapse of the system and the struggle of human nature, leaving behind profound questions of the times.
