They all say you’re the chosen one.
Chen Li is unemployed and wants nothing more than a quiet, peaceful life,
but one day she starts seeing strange things no one else can see.
She only wants to pretend nothing is happening and stay out of danger,
until a little girl takes her hand and says with a gentle smile:
“You can’t, big sister. You’ve already been chosen.”
Without giving her a choice, the girl drags her into a world of memories,
and once that unknown door opens, there is no going back to her old life.
Strange missions soon appear on her phone, and her first destination is an old building in the west of the city.
It is a playground for a murderous maniac, a dead end woven from blood and fear.
Will she join this mad feast, or become a sacrificial offering for others to slaughter?
As she enters one dangerous place after another, a black cat with scarlet eyes quietly watches from the depths of the darkness.
A blood-red butterfly appears on the back of her left hand, and a curse coils around her.
Deep in a rain-shrouded, fogbound town, a red coffin lies still.
The ghost bride Nan Ling, holding a blood-red oil-paper umbrella and dressed in a golden-thread butterfly wedding gown,
regards her arrival with enchanting yet cold features and silent, blood-red vertical pupils.
Everything is so bewildering…
becomes her only support as she faces the uncanny.
The story is not quite terrifying to the extreme, but it tightens its grip with every step.
Chen Li can only make her way toward survival,
slowly forging a path of her own through one life-or-death trial after another.
The writing is very good, and it would be better if the psychological description of the characters is more detailed.
It's pretty easy to mess with❤️😋Except for some of the clips that are a bit inconsistent, they could use more transitions
