The Thirteenth Missing Person

Over the past three years, twelve people have vanished and reappeared according to the precise pattern of “lunar phases” and “urban landmarks.” Every one of them has lost all their memories, and mysterious symbols have been carved into their bodies. The police classified the case as top secret and gave it the codename “Lunar Eclipse.”

Profiler Lu Xun is a key member of the task force. He has just discovered that every missing person had a record at the same “spiritual wellness center,” but the investigation is abruptly halted from within. That night, he receives an anonymous package containing the complete files on all twelve missing people, along with a prediction card bearing his own name and marked with the date of the next “new moon.”

For the first time, the gears of the cycle turn toward the hunter himself.

Forced to go underground, Lu Xun has 72 hours on the countdown clock. With remote help from his partner Lin Wan, he must go from hunter to prey and uncover why he was “chosen.” The answer lies deep in the past he tried to forget, and is closely tied to the obsessive philosophy of Chen Yan, founder of the “wellness center.” When the thirteenth “new moon” rises, Lu Xun faces an ultimate choice: sink into the cycle as its perfect victim, or become the first variable to break the rules, even if it means exposing the darkest secret in the city.
