Belial's Bizarre Adventure

He is Belial, the strongest warrior of the Silver Tribe, exiled to a parallel universe after one impulsive act.

He is Isshin Yagami, an orphan in Tokyo who works at a convenience store and lives in a shabby six-tatami room. The only light in his life is his still-kind heart.

One is an exiled hero, the other a self-doubting human.

When a truck rushed toward a girl, Isshin Yagami ran to save her.

When Belial fell through a rift in space, he happened to witness the scene.

Their light converged, and they became one.

With monsters on the way, this unlikely pair will find redemption in one another through battle.

This is a story about loneliness and companionship.

PS: This is an idea I had for a character I really like, Belial. It's a medium-length novel, and I started writing it as if it were a 52-episode Ultraman series. You can imagine a narration like the one in Tiga.

The inspiration came from this:

Father of Ultra: “That's not how Ultraman stories go! How did you turn evil right away? You were supposed to be injured by the Plasma Spark Tower and fly to a planet called Earth. Because of your own carelessness, a young Earthling was killed. Overcome with guilt, you were supposed to become one with him and join some Earth defense force, facing danger together. Through living alongside humans and helping one another, you'd be moved and eventually sacrifice yourself to protect Earth. Then I'd bring back both lives and revive you and that human, take you to the Land of Light, and appoint you captain of the Space Garrison. At last, the two of us would work together to maintain peace and security throughout the universe. That's how an Ultraman story should go! How can you turn evil right from the start? I won't accept it!”
