[Mythology Reawakens + Chinese Heroes + Secret Identities + All-Out Passion + Ruthless Decisiveness + Ensemble Cast]
A century ago, calamities struck. The Western gods perched high in the clouds, regarding mortals as ants.
To protect all living beings, the gods and immortals of China resolutely self-destructed their divine cores as one, becoming a barrier that severed the connection between heaven and earth. In exchange, Great Xia enjoyed a century of peace.
A hundred years later, the barrier shattered. Foreign gods coveted the land, and heretics crept through the shadows.
Great Xia had no gods. Only mortals, with their flesh and blood, stood guard at the nation's gates!
To raise 300,000 yuan for his younger sister's life-saving treatment, Chu Ran, an apprentice at an antique shop, accidentally awakened the [Tomb of the Nation] buried deep in his mind.
Within the tomb lay the unyielding heroic spirits of China's five thousand years of history. By laying their lingering obsessions to rest, he could summon their power and inherit their unparalleled legacies!
He laid the obsession of the great assassin Jing Ke to rest and gained [Cold Waters of Yi], killing within ten paces and vanishing without a trace!
He laid the obsession of the Conqueror of Western Chu to rest and gained [Conqueror's Armor], smashing through enemy ranks and wielding strength enough to uproot mountains!
He laid the obsession of Huo Qubing to rest, leading the [Thunder Cavalry] to seal Mount Langju Xu and storm the halls of the foreign gods!
He laid the obsession of the Great Sage Equal to Heaven to rest, raising a pillar to the sky, taking on the forms of heaven and earth, and sweeping the world clean of demons!
Foreign gods descend, mocking Great Xia for being weak and godless?
Chu Ran takes on a thousand faces, embodying the countless heroic spirits of China's five thousand years of history. One sword gleams coldly across the land!
“History cannot be rewritten. Humanity's fate is in humanity's own hands, sword in hand!”
“I, Chu Ran, am content to be an ordinary man of China! But today, in the mortal world, I will suppress and slay the gods!”
