However, when the sound-absorbing totem he experimented with took effect for the first time, it brought about the spread of the "silent plague" - a gray fog area that swallowed up sound and memory and possessed consciousness. Forced to embark on a path of escape and exploration, Yan gradually discovers that the world of the sea of clouds itself is a painful dream of a dying giant, and human voices are the source of intensifying its pain. He must find a way to compose the last soothing homophony for this painful dream that carries them before the world becomes completely silent and civilization dies. This is the paradoxical journey of the man who hates sound the most, searching for sound for the world.
