I'm a Detective, Why Did You Give Me a Spirit Medium System?

[System] + [Everyday case-solving] + [Lighthearted comedy] + [One heroine]

Lin Han transmigrated into the body of an unremarkable criminal investigator. His daily work consisted of pouring tea for his teammates and handling the logistics.

And to think he used to be a top student at the police academy!

He thought he was destined to live out the rest of his life in mediocrity, but then a System dropped into his lap and gave him the chance to turn things around.

[Congratulations, Host! You have successfully bonded with the Spirit Communication System. Your new-user reward is now being issued!]

Lin Han: ??

I’m a criminal investigator. Why are you giving me a spirit communication system?

[Congratulations, Host! You have acquired the skill: Ghost Sight.]

[The Host can directly see the dead and learn their cause of death and the nature of their case.]

Lin Han: “Well, that’s interesting. I suppose a spirit communication system isn’t so bad!”

With the Spirit Communication System, Lin Han solved one major case after another, and all kinds of god-tier skills came his way. He went from a nobody on the sidelines to a legendary detective everyone talked about!

Captain: “Lin, if you had this ability, you should’ve said so earlier! I’ll make the tea from now on, and you can investigate!”

Chief: “A talent like this was sidelined for so long? There must be something going on. Investigate it! And make sure Lin Han gets the recognition he deserves!”

Good buddy: “Wait, you gave me a laxative just so you could come to the crime scene?”

But becoming a legendary detective came at a price.

Lin Han: “Hey, can you give me a little privacy? I’m using the bathroom!”

Ghost: “If you solve the case faster, I’ll disappear sooner, won’t I?”
