Creating Spirits from Chaos

At the age of ten, Ye Xinghe, a boy with no spiritual root, fell into a frigid pool and came away with a scar on his chest. Six years later, the scar split open, devoured a spirit herb, and spat out a wisp of chaotic energy. He had actually awakened the lowest-grade Mixed Spiritual Root after birth. But this "spiritual root" was alive. It was hungry. A chaotic spirit seed tainted at the dawn of creation, it used his lifespan as soil, devouring all things as it grew. To live past twenty, he embarked on the path of nurturing his root, never knowing that what he was raising was the Tenth Chaos Seed, destined to shatter the belief that "spiritual roots are predetermined by fate," and a forbidden secret sought by the Nine Great Holy Lands for a thousand years. A mortal body bears chaos; a sickly frame supports the heavens. When the seed breaks through the soil, an epic of all spirits living in harmony will be rewritten by an ordinary man.
