Shen Yu Yuan, the entertainment industry's new-generation “hopeless illiterate” top-tier star and rising actress, is ridiculed across the internet as someone who “got ahead on her looks.” Nobody knows she's also the real heiress of the powerful Shen family, who went missing years ago, or that she's the mysterious founder of a traditional Chinese intangible cultural heritage brand worth tens of billions.
Gu Ye Chen, the undisputed heir of the Gu family in the capital, is a ruthless business tycoon feared like the King of Hell. Nobody knows he has another hidden identity: he is Shen Yu Yuan's never-before-seen first love, the “long-dead” man of her dreams.
To withstand pressure from their families, the two signed a two-year contract marriage and became the entertainment industry's most loveless “show couple.” They acted affectionate for the cameras and kept their distance behind them. Then a celebrity couples' reality show thrust their “secret relationship” into the spotlight, kicking off a spectacular unmasking and an underdog comeback that won over the whole nation.
