In the 18th year of the Republic of China, Xu Baozhu went north with his best friend Liu Yanyan to escape from marriage, but the war broke out on the border and they returned in embarrassment. On the way, he met a mysterious young man named Liang Shaozhen. He predicted that war would not break out and made a bet with her. After returning home, Baozhu went to a banquet and met this man again, but he lost control and kissed him in a dark alley.
What's even more bizarre is that a man who looks exactly like his grandfather appears at the banquet - Xu Guangping, who claims to be his grandfather's twin brother. Liang Shaozhen blocked her contact with Xu Guangping at every turn and had a tough attitude.
In order to protect the pearl, Liang Shaozhen proposed a fake marriage. After marriage, he doted on her to the core, but always kept the last secret. Until one day, Baozhu discovered that the ancestral jade carving contained a title deed to the minerals in the north - which was purchased jointly by the grandfather and the Liang family's father. When Liang Shaozhen was fifteen years old, he had seen her photo and promised his father: "She will come to the north, I will guard it and bring her back."
A marriage that started with a bet, a wait that started at the age of fifteen. When all the secrets were revealed, she realized that he had been waiting at all the intersections she had to pass when she fled to the north.
