Classic entertainment hits recreated (the peak of Chinese pop culture), a laid-back daily life, System quests and face-slapping, and the expansion of a business empire.
Main character: Lin Mo, 22, a "washed-up" singer who graduated from a music conservatory. Steady and a little humorous, he lives by the motto, "As long as I'm not embarrassed, everyone else is."
Setting: Blue Star, a parallel world where China's entertainment industry lags behind. Rap is just taking off, and it's all "folksy shouted rhymes." Pop music is dominated by sentimental, formulaic love songs, with a lack of works boasting real cultural depth.
