Who I am?
A storyteller who grew up at the foot of Huizhou Mountain.
My favorite thing to do when I was a child was to sit on the stone steps of the City God's Temple and listen to the old people in the village talking about ancient times. They said that something was buried under this temple; they said that there were foxes with wings in the mountains; they said that there were people in our ancestors who could see unclean things.
I listened to it as a story at that time.
Then I grew up, left, and came back. When I sat on the stone steps again, the old man was no longer here, but the story was still spinning in my mind.
So I started thinking: What if those stories were true?
What if the mythical beasts in "The Classic of Mountains and Seas" are really hidden somewhere we can't see?
What if that place is in the Chenghuang Temple next door to your home?
