Synopsis

The world is beautiful. I won't be coming back in my next life.

Bailu (a pseudonym) said something after returning from northern Myanmar that I still can't forget. She said: "When Heaven was taking me apart, it got the balance just right. Any harder, and I'd have died. Any gentler, and I might have had a decent life."

My so-called best friend tricked me into going to northern Myanmar. That's when I learned that women here aren't even treated as human beings.

Beatings, imprisonment, being drained of every last bit of value: show the slightest resistance, and you'll wish you were dead.

Everyone told me, "Accept your fate. Once you're in, don't even dream of getting out alive."

But I refuse to accept it.

Starting today, I'm going to survive. I'm going to escape. And everyone who hurt me will pay in blood!

I'll rot in my homeland if I have to, but never in northern Myanmar.

Urban Novels with Wildly Imaginative, Fresh Ideas, with or Without a System

I'm looking for books like Behave Yourself! You're Always on the List When They Crack Down. Something witty and funny, with a lighthearted, comedic style. I want an entertaining urban fantasy with an interesting premise, not something brainless. It can have a System or not, as long as it's fun.

No school or academy settings, school beauties, goddesses, empresses, harems, male-male pairings, saintly heroines, teams where one person drags along several deadweights, or characters who act less than human and look for someone to own them.

In a Terrible Reading Slump: I Drop 9.8-Rated Books After Ten Chapters and 9.7-Rated Ones After Five

I'm so out of books to read, but I'm incredibly picky. For "Ten Thousand People Are Browsing", I made it only thirty chapters before dropping it. I used to read "Dragon King" past chapter 400, but now I dropped "Slay the Gods" after just twenty chapters.
