Wutian Returns: The Black Lotus Calamity

Thirty thousand years ago, he fell into demonic darkness for love and planted a black lotus seed.

Thirty thousand years later, the seed blossomed, shrouding the skies of all Three Realms.

When the bells of Spirit Mountain fell silent and darkness devoured the radiance of the Heavenly Court,

the Buddha of old became a demon today;

and the demon of today waited in the heart of the lotus for a man named Sun Wukong to come and end his life.

One foolish thought severs prajna; one wise thought brings prajna to life.

The Black Lotus Calamity is a tribulation for the Three Realms, but the one who must cross it is Wutian alone.

Is the rise of the Black Lotus a calamity for all living beings, or for Tathagata?
