Building Cities and People in the Early Tang Dynasty

Liu Poxiao, an elementary school Chinese teacher, is reborn as a low-ranking soldier guarding the frontier in the early Tang Dynasty. He binds to the [Civilization-Building System]. Mission One: Take part in an uprising and survive. Leading three hundred old and infirm people, he fights while reclaiming farmland. Mission Two: Take office as a local official and defend his home and country. He repels foreign invaders, develops the economy, and opens a frontier school. Mission Three: Build cities and foster culture. He constructs cities, educates the people, and establishes laws, turning barren land into a model for the entire realm. When officials at court impeach him for "privately cultivating popular support," he promptly submits a petition: "Your Majesty, this is a joint request signed by the people of the frontier, asking that I continue to serve as their official." The emperor looks at the densely packed signatures and falls silent. Half of these people were students Liu Poxiao taught.
