I have reached middle age and want to write about my experiences in the first half of my life.
I once thought that the gambling table was a ladder to heaven, that I could win luxury cars and deposits with a handful of cards, that I could win stars and the moon with one bet, and that I had endless glory. I thought I had grasped all the good things in the world.
The wanton squandering when winning money and the false glory of being sought after by others made me indulge in the fantasy woven by fate, thinking that I could control winning and losing, rewrite my life, and throw away all the pain in ordinary life.
But I finally wake up from the fantasy dream, and I can only get in and out of the gambling game.
The glitz and glamor earned is the bait thrown by the banker. After a long period of gambling, the savings are gone, the property is mortgaged, and the debt is overwhelming; the lover leaves, the family is alienated, and there is no more trust around you; the reason is swallowed up by greed, the dignity is crushed by debt, and even the health and future are gambled on the gambling table and lose everything.
I once had countless beautiful things, but in the end I ruined my whole world with my own gambling.
