Wen Sui: 22 years old, a rural-born language major and top student. Neither good nor bad, she’s a woman willing to do whatever it takes to survive. She’s exceptionally observant, able to read people’s thoughts from their tiniest expressions. Empathy is her weapon, and she shifts her personality to suit whoever she’s dealing with. Her nerves are steely; even when exposed, she never bats an eye. Her motto: “If the world won’t be kind to me, I’ll take what I want myself.”
The main storyline follows Wen Sui as she uses her think tank, Shen Yan, and Lin Hui to get everything she wants, step by step, only to discover along the way that some things can’t be controlled by scheming.
