[No CP | Strong Female Lead | Villain]
She was not born a Death Eater, nor did she care to become an ally of The Chosen One.
At seven years old, Ivy Crouch learned the true meaning of power. When the Ministry of Magic's Aurors took her father away, when her mother's wand was pointed at her, and when her family's glory was reduced to a death notice from Azkaban, she understood that this world's only rule was simple: fear, or be feared.
In 1991, she enrolled alongside The Chosen One.
Over seven years, she built an intelligence network more secretive than Voldemort's, controlled a chain of wealth greater than the Ministry of Magic's, and trained an army more loyal than Dumbledore's. In the Chamber of Secrets, she made an equal pact with a basilisk. In Azkaban, she learned magic from Dementors by turning the tables on them. At Gringotts, she incited the goblins to overthrow the financial system.
She trusts no one.
She uses everyone.
She will become someone no one dares look in the eye.
Voldemort wants to massacre Muggles. Dumbledore wants to save the world.
She simply raises her wand in silence:
"Your war is nothing but a move on my chessboard."
This book has a lot of details, a lot of foreshadowing, clear logic, reasoning, etc. I was really shocked by the author's writing style and logic.
