[My fanfiction came true, and now I have to be the protagonist? ...Fine. I dug this hole myself, so I’ll have to fill it, even if I have to cry the whole time.]
Lin Yi, a nobody fanfiction writer, stayed up late writing a fanfic based on "Mashining Hero Wataru" and died suddenly at his keyboard.
When he woke up, he had become an original character from his own story: the fourth Mashining Hero.
The good news: He wrote this world. He knows the plot, the enemies’ weaknesses, and the characters’ secrets inside and out.
The bad news: He only wrote 800,000 words, and it seems the rest of the story is being “autocompleted.”
The even worse news: He discovers that every word he wrote is becoming reality, including all the “loose ends he never got around to tying up.”
“Wait, I never designed this enemy!”
“How did Labi’s backstory end up even more tragic than the one I wrote?!”
“Daichi, don’t be reckless. Stick to the script I wrote! ...Never mind, the script’s useless now.”
As the story strays further and further from the original, and the “author” is no longer all-knowing and all-powerful...
Ling Yi looks at the shining moonlight mark in his palm and grits out the words:
“I dug this hole myself, so I’ll have to fill it, even if I have to cry the whole time.”
“Garth, cover the second squad. Watch your mana.”
“Labi, handle the data analysis and post the boss’s weaknesses in the group chat.”
The generals of the Jado Empire are baffled: Why aren’t these four Mashining Heroes following the usual playbook? They even hold pre-battle meetings, run war games, and have performance reviews?! How are we supposed to fight them?!
