Don't Open the Third Door

My name is Ding Lai. To save money, I rented that old apartment. The price was ridiculously cheap.

The landlord repeated just one warning: No matter what you hear at night, don’t open the door, and don’t look back.

I thought it was just an old person’s superstition, until the first night after I moved in, when a faint knock came from outside the door...

And I clearly remembered that there wasn’t a single other tenant on this floor.
