Crossing the Dusty Bonds: Records of Ten Lifetimes of Good Deeds

The protagonist, Shen Jinghan, committed countless evils in his previous life: massacring villages, wiping out entire families, betraying those who trusted him, murdering his master, and forcing his wife into marriage. After his death, the underworld judges his soul too deeply mired in sin to be reincarnated. Moved by the Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha, he must undergo ten lifetimes, taking on a different identity in each and doing good deeds to repay the karmic debts of his past, until every grievance has been resolved.
