The Fallen River

Thirty years ago, a meteor struck Blue Star. The main impactor crashed into the Pacific, triggering a tsunami thousands of meters high and wiping out the coastal cities. Source-crystal radiation swept across the globe, killing 99% of humanity. Only 70 million survivors remain, scattered among ruins and fortresses. The sky is ashen, and freshwater has run dry. Five extreme landscapes have emerged: radiation wastelands, bizarre jungles, deadly marshes, source-crystal enrichment zones, and dead zones. Dead zones can devour source energy, leaving any awakened person who enters powerless.
